In the context of the International Museum Day 2024 and the completion of the "Vpalm - Virtual Museum" project, the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment invites members of the university community to visit the Department's Museums on Saturday 1/6 and Sunday 2/6/2024, from 10.00 to 15.00.

In the "Paleontology & Geology" and "Mineralogy & Petrology" Museums, young and old will have the opportunity to see plants and animals of the distant past (such as the mammoth, the fearsome muskrat and the giant tortoise), and to admire impressive minerals and rocks from around the world.

In addition, in the exhibition "GEO Mythology - from Myth to Truth", visitors will have the opportunity, with the help of the Museum of Palaeontology and Geology's guides, to discover how various ancient myths find their interpretation through the Earth Sciences, and to see these myths brought to life with the help of modern technology.

Admission and tours of the Museums will be free.
